Bronfman Tops Brit Millionaire Poll

A MAN AND HIS MONEY: After moving to London last year with his family for a “change of pace,” WMG Chairman/Chief Exec Edgar Bronfman is the new #1 earner on the 2010 Sunday Times British Music Millionaire chart, boasting a total fortune of $2.5 billion, which makes him #25 on the overall list of the U.K.’s 1,000 richest people. Former Zomba owner Clive Calder was pushed back into second place, unchanged at $2 billion, and now nowhere in sight (why hasn’t anyone approached him to buy EMI?). Musical theatre composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is third, down from #2, his wealth dipping from $1.15 to $1.07 billion. Paul McCartney, whose wealth went up slightly under 10% to $727.3 million, dropped #3-5, while U2 is once again the top Irish moneymakers with $656.9 million, a slight increase from last year.
