Jersey Shore Soundtrack Release
SHORE THING: Nothing says summer like the Jersey Shore Soundtrack, an MTV and Universal Republic Records release which comes out July 20. The first single is “I Like It” from Enrique Iglesias featuring Pitbull. Other artists include Lil Jon, Taio Cruz, Akon and LMFAO’s “Get Crazy,” the show’s theme song. “From the clubs to the gym, there’s going to be a lot of fist-pumping and boot-shaking going on this summer and that’s just at my house,” said MTV EVP Music and Talent Programming Strategy Amy Doyle. Added Universal Republic’s Monte Lipman: “Graduating from Montclair High School in New Jersey, and spending many summers at Seaside Heights, has prepared me for this historical moment in my career.” Season 2 of Jersey Shore premieres July 29 on MTV. Jersey Shore The Complete First Season Uncensored DVD hits stores July 20. (5/3p)
