Pinehurst Final

PINEHURST FINAL: Evan Prager won his second Pinehurst Invitational this weekend with a +15, barely edging Roberto Caridi (+16) and Jeremy Henshaw (+20) after being down two with three holes to play in Rick Krim and Gus Gusler's annual tournament in North Carolina. Caridi double-bogeyed 16, then had a long putt on 18 to par and tie, but just barely missed sinking it. Don't worry, though. Jack Nicklaus' record for most major tournaments won is safe from this group. Though Tiger Woods better start looking over his shoulder. At right, Krim and Gusler present two time-winner Prager with another Pinehurst Cup. (5/16p)
