HOTTER THAN JULY: Night Work, the Scissor Sisters’ first album since 2006’s Ta-Dah, arrives June 29 via Downtown Records, with lead single “Fire With Fire” impacting Hot AC Monday (6/14). The N.Y. band has had remarkable success overseas, selling north of 7 million albums worldwide, a shitload of them in the U.K., so it’s fitting that Jake Shears, Ana Matronic and company recorded most of the new album in London. For the first time, the band chose to work with an outside producer in Stuart Price (The Killers, Madonna), with whom they bonded on their first visit to Britain back in 2004, when they opened for Price’s band Zoot Woman. Here’s the stunning video for “Fire With Fire,” which we nabbed from Vevo (fronted by a promo for True Blood). (6/11a)
