“WE’RE A HAPPY FAMILY”: Samantha and Mandy Stein plan to write a book about their late mother, Ramones manager turned real estate broker Linda Stein, in collaboration with Larry "Ratso" Sloman, Page Six reports. Sloman authored On the Road With Bob Dylan, as well as helping Anthony Kiedis with Scar Tissue, and Howard Stern with Private Parts and Miss America. He also wrote Reefer Madness: A History of Marijuana, about Linda’s preferred high. Said Sloman, "Linda was at the epicenter of every cultural trend," referring to marriage to Seymour Stein and her time hanging out at Studio 54. "Samantha and Mandy had this amazingly interesting childhood. And then, after their mother was murdered, the two girls came together and dealt with the craziness of the trial.
