Justin Time at Idol?
JUSTIN TIME AT IDOL? Justin Timberlake is the latest name to be thrown in the derby for a potential American Idol judge. The multi-talented superstar has now joined Elton John on the list of possible replacements for Simon Cowell on next year’s edition of the Fox show, with Chris Isaak and Harry Connick Jr. also in the mix. According to Hollywood Reporter, former Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe is also close to returning to the fold—and could choose to get rid of remaining judges Randy Jackson, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi. Lythgoe, who left Idol two years ago to be an executive producer and judge on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, has also mentioned bringing Paula Abdul back. (7/27a)
