ACLU Fetes MTV's Doyle

ACLU TAKES AMY: MTV EVP Music & Talent Amy Doyle will follow in the footsteps of some pretty heavy hitters when she receives the ACLU of Southern California Bill of Rights Award at this year’s annual dinner at the Beverly Hilton, Dec. 13, joining fellow network execs like Judy McGrath and Van Toffler, who have also been previously honored. The recognition goes to individuals "who have done extraordinary work to preserve civil liberties and rights," with past winners including music luminaries Jermaine Dupri, Dixie Chicks, Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Steve Schnur as well as superstars Barbra Streisand, Dustin Hoffman, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Redford, Ellen DeGeneres, Martin Scorsese and Sarah Jessica Parker. There's also an online auction at www.charityfolks.com/ACLU to help raise funds. (8/4p)
