MTV Names Twitter Jock

MTV TWEETS: Gabi Gregg, a 23-year-old Mount Holyoke College graduate, has been selected by viewers as the winner of the MTV Twitter Jockey competition. One of 20 candidates, Gregg won the vote, sponsored by American ExpressZync, on a special which aired last night on the network and MTV.com. The job is for three months, during which Gregg will be based in New York. “So much to say about how I feel right now, but keeping it to 140 characters or less I’ll say #VMAs here I come. Thank U to #Zync, #MTV and most of all the fans whose votes got me here! I promise I won’t let you down! #ZYNCmtvTJ,” she tweeted. (8/9p)
