HEY MAN, NICE COVER: Add art direction as another possible Grammy category for Disney Pearl's critically acclaimed Brian Wilson Reimagines Gershwin album. The AlbumArtExchange Blog poll has cited the release as its best album cover of the week, with a dominant 46% of the vote, topping Iron Maiden’s The Final Frontier with 31%. The cover features a retro illustration by Steve Sterling, with art director Steve Gerdes, inspired by the covers created by the legendary pioneer of the modern album jacket Alex Steinweiss (see right).
