Lyor in L.A.

LYOR IN LA-LA: Look for WMG ruler Lyor Cohen to relocate to L.A. to oversee the transition of Rob Cavallo, Tony Moskowitz and Livia Tortella to the helm of Warner Bros. Records after the nine-year run of the exiting Tom Whalley. Cohen's move follows the arrival of fellow music group chief Lucian Grainge of UMG, who also recently established his base of operations in L.A., with insiders saying the WMG chief could be here anywhere from three to six months, depending on how quickly the new team settles in. The man's table is already reserved at Soho House. (9/20a)
