GLEE POWER: Looks like last night’s second season premiere of Fox’s Glee was a smashing success. The show boasts no fewer than five of the Top 10 singles on iTunes this morning, including “Empire State of Mind” (#1), “Telephone” (#2), “Billionaire” (#5), “Listen” (#8) by newcomer Charise’s Sunshine Corazon and Lea Michele’s show-closing “What I Did for Love” (#9). The ratings were strong, too, with a 5.5/16 among 18-49 and 12.3 million viewers overall, up 57% from last year’s premiere, and the second-highest ever, off just .1 from last spring’s debut. It was by far the highest-rated program of the night in that demo, fully 95% of whom weren't sure whether new football coach Shannon Beiste was played by a man or a woman (hint: Dot Marie Jones is a woman, we think).
