Weezy in Solitary

WEEZY’S SOLO ACT: Lil Wayne’s new digital-only album, I Am Not a Human Being, debuts on the HITS chart today, but it’s clear the rapper himself won’t be doing any celebrating. Currently serving an eight-month term at N.Y.’s Riker’s Island for attempted criminal possession of a weapon, Weezy has been moved to what jail officials are calling “punitive segregation” yesterday. The rapper’s solitary confinement is his punishment for stashing a charger and headphones for a digital music player in a potato chip bag in his cell. Wayne will be confined to his cell 23 hours a day and kept apart from other inmates during recreation time. He has been jailed since March and is expected to be released Nov. 4. (10/5a)
