EMI Getting Wound-up

MORE EMI WATCH: With yesterday's rumormongering about Michael Goldstone (see below), the latest name to surface for the vacant EMI Music A&R slot is Wind-up's Diana Meltzer, whose discoveries include Creed, Evanescence, Seether and Finger Eleven. What would that mean for the Wind-up label, which has had an international marketing and distribution relationship with EMI since Sept. 2009? Rumors have been swirling that Alan and Diana Meltzer have been looking to sell the company. (10/5p)
