Malone in for Diller at Live Nation

MALONE AGAIN, NATURALLY: Liberty Media Corp.’s John Malone will temporarily take Barry Diller’s place as Chairman of the Board of Live Nation Entertainment. Diller oversaw the merger of Ticketmaster and Live Nation, but he had reportedly clashed with Malone over the direction of the combined company. Live Nation Entertainment said Malone has agreed to be interim chairman while the combined company seeks a new chairman. Malone's Liberty Media Corp. owns some 14% of the company. (10/18a)
