VEVO ACTION—BRUUUUUCE: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed a rare concert event last week at the old Carousel House in Asbury Park, playing—for the first time ever onstage—songs from the incredible new/old double album and box set The Promise (Columbia). The entire mini-set—comprising "Racing in the Street ('78),” "Gotta Get That Feeling," "Ain't Good Enough for You" and "The Promise," plus a cover of Elvis’ "Blue Christmas"—is viewable until New Year’s Day on all Vevo platforms—and immediately below, for that matter. Thom Zimny directed and Bob Clearmountain mixed, reprising their roles on the film and album. Btw, Rolling Stone’s Andy Greene was one of the 60 or so people on hand for the performance; his review is up on the mag’s site. (12/16a)
