Vevo Gets a Lift

VEVO GETS A LIFT: Jason Flom discovery Jessie J will be the first artist in Vevo’s new LIFT program, a comprehensive, social media campaign designed to break new and emerging acts. The initiative will be announced on tonight’s People’s Choice Awards on CBS, where the network will present the first-ever Favorite Music Video award. The British pop diva, whose debut will come out later this year on Lava/Universal Republic, will be featured over the next eight weeks on the LIFT home page here, which includes video premieres, behind the scenes and live concert footage, opportunities for fan interaction and exclusive streamed songs, the first time Vevo has featured audio-only tracks. For more on the program, go to the Vevo blog here. Information will be available on Vevo’s Facebook and Twitter feeds, with rewards to those fans that spread the word on individual LIFT artists.
