Primary Wave Spins Webb

WEBB RIDES A WAVE: Legendary songwriter/producer Jimmy Webb has inked with Primary Wave Music for administration of his publishing company and all compositions produced in the future. Webb’s catalog includes such stgandards as “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “Wichita Lineman,” “MacArthur Park,” ‘Galveston” and “Up, Up and Away,” among many others. Commented CEO Larry Mestel: “We could not be more proud to be entrusted with the works of this modern-day master composer and lyricist.  The strength of our marketing team will ensure that Jimmy Webb will continue to enjoy the reputation he deserves as a genius songsmith and beyond...even if he did leave the cake out in the rain.” Added Webb: “Primary Wave respect and understand music and songwriters and are proactive in this fast-changing environment.  There are songs in my catalog just busting to get out into the world and this is the team that can do it.” And he automatically gets an invite to the pubbery’s very exclusive Grammy party.
