Strokes Album Coming March 22

A STROKES STROKE: N.Y.C. post-punk legends The Strokes will release Angles, their fourth album,  and first since 2006’s First Impressions on Earth, March 22, on RCA in the U.S. and the day before in the U.K. on Rough Trade Records. A new single, "Under Cover of Darkness," goes to radio next month. The band will play Sunday night at Coachella with Kanye West. Those who’ve heard it say it’s a return to the fire and energy of 2001’s debut Is This It and 2003’s Room on Fire. Last year, the band returned to the road, playing and headlining major festivals in the United States and U.K., including the Isle of Wight Festival, Lollapalooza, Hurricane Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Rockness, Outside Lands and Austin City Limits.
