Gaga for Facebook?

GAGA ON FACEBOOK? First, it was Katy Perry, now it’s Lady Gaga who may be collaborating on a major initiative with Facebook. According to word out of MIDEM, Internet start-up RootMusic, sporting $2.3 million in venture capital, has approached the social network with a possible Gaga promotion, presumably to promote her upcoming album. RootMusic has been focused on BandPages, which critics see as closer to MySpace Music than Facebook. The company, with funding from Silicon Valley angels Mohr Davidow Ventures, is looking to make a big splash on the campaign. (1/26p)
