The Civil Wars Attack

WINNING THE WARS: Keep an eye out on next week's chart for indie group The Civil Wars, a collaboration between Reunion solo act Joy Williams and John Paul White. They released a free live album in June 2009 and an EP, Poison and Wine, in November of that year. The pair just performed the title track to their new sensibility music album, Barton Hollow, on The Tonight Show a couple of weeks ago. The album came out today, and is currently #1 on iTunes. Props go to CMT and Jay Frank for taking a flyer and putting it into play. Check the vid below. (2/1p)
