Google Music to launch via Android OS

PHONING IT IN: Google will launch its much-anticipated music service as part of an Android OS upgrade for mobile devices, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha strongly suggested during remarks at the Mobile World Congress, The Guardian reported. "If you look at Google Mobile services today, there's a video service, there's a music service—that is, there will be a music service," Jha said. He added that Android update, which he referred to as "Honeycomb," will bring "video services and music services" to the platform. (2/18a)
