Guy O invests in ticketing co.

IT’S A GUY THING: SeatGeek, the operator of an event ticket price forecasting service and secondary ticketing marketplace, has received an undisclosed amount of new funding from A Grade Investments, a firm that includes Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary, Digital Media Wire reported. The two-year-old, N.Y.-based SeatGeek has now raised more than $2 million in funding, including a $550k round in October. At that time, the company also announced a revenue-sharing deal with the Wall Street Journal, which features SeatGeek listings in its online sports and local sections. The company will use the new funds to hire additional staff, increase the number of events it serves, and expand into the European market. (2/24a)
