Grainge honored by France

HEY, WHAT’S THAT DANGLY THING ON YOUR LAPEL? Lucian Grainge was honored by the French government as an Officier des Arts et des Lettres Sunday night in Beverly Hills, joining past recipients including Quentin Tarantino, Bruce Willis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sharon Stone and Kylie Minogue, Claire Atkinson reported in the N.Y. Post. The award was presented by French culture minister Frederic Mitterand, the nephew of former French president Francois Mitterand. According to Atkinson’s sources, the UMG Chairman/CEO will be moving to L.A. in the next few weeks—which is odd considering he's been living here since last summer. (3/14a)
