MARY MARY QUITE CONTRARY: Big buzz building about Myblock/Columbia Records gospel stars Mary Mary, whose new album, Something Big, comes out March 29. The lead single, “Walking,” is Top 5 Urban AC, Top 5 Gospel and the song has already entered Top 40 on the Urban Mainstream charts. The video has taken off at VH1 Soul and was BET 106 & Park’s "new joint of the day." Look for them to appear the week of release on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno March 31. In less than a decade, Mary Mary have sold more than five million albums and have collected three Grammys, two American Music Awards, a BET Award, seven Dove Awards and two NAACP Image Awards.
