Gaga RS fave 2010 cover

GENERALS & MAJORS: The July 8, 2010, Rolling Stone cover of Lady Gaga came out on top in the minonline readers’ survey of 2010’s favorite covers of weekly and biweekly mags, receiving a clear plurality with 25.9%. The issue also had Michael Hastings' revelation of the crude comments by Gen. Stanley McChrystal and his aides toward President Obama (who fired McChrystal and replaced him with Gen. David Petraeus as commander of U.S. armed forces in Afghanistan). Apparently, McChrystal was born this way. Both stories received plenty of attention in the press. (3/22a)
