WMG STOCK CLIMBS: The Warner Music Group auction heats up today, as the stock continues to climb on trading, up more than 6% on the day, with the price now approaching $8 after news broke on CNET that Ron Burkle's Yucaipa Companies has put in a $3 billion bid for the whole company, which blows competing bids in the $2.5-2.6b range out of the water.
