REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO X: Look for Mariah Carey and L.A. Reid, who oversaw her smash comeback album for Island/IDJ, The Emancipation of Mimi, to join up again on Simon Cowell’s new X Factor TV show, debuting this fall on Fox. Cowell told KZZP Spokane’s Jackie Brown that the diva will have a key role on the show, but not as a judge like Reid. Carey is currently due to give birth to twins with husband Nick Cannon in May, so she won’t be around to give her input into auditions. “Her idea was to be the judge of the judges,” said Cowell. "She'll be involved in some form. I literally adore her. I love her to bits." (4/19p)
