Fuller's XIX gets techy

HEY XIX: Simon Fuller's XIX Entertainment has acquired BlueHaze, a company offering a suite of app-building services for acts, labels and brands, Digital Music News reports after getting confirmaton from both parties. Among BlueHaze’s clients are Interscope, IDJ, Warner Music, Ticketmaster and MSG. A formal announcement is expected this morning. This will probably not be an isolated grab for XIX, DMN speculates, as Fuller continues building a full-service "talent-to-fan digital resource," according to company executives. BlueHaze founder Mark Shedletsky will join XIX as Head of Digital. (4/21a)
