ASCAP READIES EXPO: It’s ASCAP week. Do you know where your music superstars are? The performing rights org steps up with its 28th annual Pop Music Awards Wednesday night, where Rod Stewart will be honored with the Founders Award and Band of Horses will receive the Vanguard Award at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, featuring performances by Glee’s Darren Criss, Taio Cruz and Train’s Pat Monahan. Then, starting Thursday, the 2011 “I Create Music” EXPO gets underway, with three days of panels and workshops, including the likes of Lindsey Buckingham, Sara Bareilles, Pharrell, Fergie and Dr. Luke.
