Sony breaks out tablet

STILL PLAYING CATCH-UP: Sony broke out its first tablet computers yesterday, determined yet again to take on Apple, along with Samsung, Motorola, LG, HTC and H-P. The tablets, code-named S1 and S2, will have Wi-Fi and will be compatible with 3G and 4G networks. They’ll use Google’s Android 3.0 OS, and they’ll be the first tablets to enable the use of PlayStation games. Meanwhile, the PlayStation Network has been down for a week, messing with the company’s latest attempt to break into the digital music market, Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity (rolls off the tongue, don’t it?).
