Glee's Anders Launches Label

ADAM TAKES A BITE: Glee Executive Producer Adam Anders, the man responsible for putting together the show’s musical performances, is launching his own record label, Anders Music, based in L.A. The label’s first signing is singer/songwriter Shane Harper, who was discovered on MySpace. Harper’s self-titled debut album and first single, “One Step Closer,” produced by Anders, are now available on iTunes. Harper debuted the single on Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie, on which he has a regular role. His next signings include Montana native Zac Poor, creating a reality show around him, as well as Ben Burgess. "Launching the label has been an incredibly fulfilling endeavor," said Anders. "I'm thrilled to introduce a roster of incredibly talented new artists to the music community and look forward to fostering their creativity through a collaborative process… just as soon as I clean this red Slushie off my face." The Poor album will be distributed through Universal Motown, with the others still unannounced. (5/9p)
