Flom Honors Father Joseph

FLOM HONORS FATHER: Lava Records President Jason Flom has donated $1 million to the Innocence Project, where he is a board member, to support a new position in honor of his late father Joseph Flom. The Joseph Flom Special Counsel will significantly increase the capacity of the Innocence Project to address the causes of wrongful conviction. Joseph Flom, who passed away in February, was a pioneering corporate lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, establishing strategies that have come to define modern legal practice. His son discovered White Lion, Twisted Sister and Skid Row. Accepting the donation from Flom are Innocence Project Co-Founders Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld. (5/16p)
