BRITS LIKE THEIR CDS: According to British trade group BPI’s Annual Yearbook, 58.5% of all U.K. buyers bought physical formats only in 2010. While that figure seems awfully high, it’s down from 65.8% in 2009. On the other hand, 17.2% only purchased digital formats, up from 12.4% the previous year. And 24.3% mixed and matched their formats. Aggregated digital purchases in the U.K. is now at $1.64 billion (1.014 billion pounds). One of five British customers made at least one digital music purchase in 2010. (5/17a)
