FAT CAT GETS FATTER: Speaking of big bucks, Citigroup CEO Vikram Pandit is getting a whopping retention package, which could make him the highest paid exec on Wall Street, the N.Y. Times reports. Pandit received just a dollar in compensation during the past two years, as Citi was bailed out twice by the U.S. government, and many called for his firing. (5/19a)
