Apple cloud nails down Sony Music

AND THEN THERE WERE THREE: Add Sony Music to the list of majors to have reached licensing deals with Apple for what is expected to be an iTunes-branded cloud service (see 5/19 story), Bloomberg reported, citing the usual sources. Warner Music and EMI are already on board, and the UMG deal is expected to go down very soon. The iCloud (as we’re calling it) could be available for all your virtual storage needs as soon as early June, withan announcement expected at the Apple developers’ conference, which begins on June 6.
