Abbey to Exit

ABBEY UPDATE: After 10 years as EVP/General Manager of Disney’s Hollywood Records, along with stints at Arista, MTV, Maverick and MCA Records, veteran exec Abbey Konowitch will leave the company at the end of September "to begin the next stage of his career." In the interim, he will be working with Buena Vista Music Group’s Bob Cavallo, who also announced he’ll be retiring in 2012, on individual projects. (5/31a)
