CMT Awards Rundown

SWIFT GETS CMT SPOILS: Taylor Swift, The Band Perry and Blake Shelton were the big winners at last night’s CMT Music Awards in Nashville. Justin Bieber won his first country award for a collaboration with Rascal Flatts, while other winners included Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and the pairing of Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Buffett. The show, hosted by Kid Rock, featured two water-cooler moments. Shania Twain fell while taking the stage to present the Male Video Winner, while Sheryl Crow acknowledged a wardrobe malfunction after singing “Collide” with Rock, her underwear peaking out from her short skirt. "Well, at least you were wearing underwear," noted Sara Evans. Swift won Video of the Year for “Mine,” while Shelton took home Male Video for “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking.” Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me” took home Female Video of the Year, while Lady Antebellum’s “Hello World” earned Group Video of the Year.
