Spotify a Go in July?

SPOTIFY A GO? Sources have confirmed Spotify’s news leak last week that they have signed up Universal Music Group, leaving Warner Music Group as the last remaining holdout. The subscription service’s founder Daniel Ek has reportedly promised his board he will have all four major labels before a stateside launch. If he can get WMG in the fold, insiders say Spotify could debut the week after July 4. Given Edgar Bronfman and Lyor Cohen’s opposition to a deal so far, that’s a big “if.” (6/13p)
