Mike Davis to head Alliance
THEY LIKE MIKE: As expected, Mike Davis has been named President of Alliance Entertainment. Davis joins Alliance from UMG, where he served in various strategic and sales capacities for more than 14 years. Since 2006, he’s ben EVP/GM of UMe. Said Davis, "Alliance is currently providing a valuable service to the entertainment industry, both content providers and retailers, in a very challenging marketplace. Regarding where the business is headed, Alliance is uniquely positioned to provide vital solutions for retailers, studios, labels, artists and managers as the industry builds their business models of tomorrow.
