Where's Rick Rubin?
HAS RUBIN LEFT THE BUILDING? Come to think of it, was he ever in the building? There are a number of as-yet unanswered questions regarding the elusive Rick Rubin. Will he get a second chance to produce Josh Groban, following his helming of last year’s commercial disappointment Illuminations? For that matter, is Rubin still employed by Sony Music, and why, in recent months, has an eerie silence surrounded the bearded wonder, who continues to produce lots of acts, but mostly for the competition, his latest project being the Chili Peppers?
