Quantcast

Show of the week

THESE DAYS & THOSE DAYS: There’ll be some pan-generational cross-pollinatin’ happening tonight at the Satellite when L.A. new traditionalists Dawes, fresh off backing up Robbie Robertson, will do the same for Jackson Browne, presumably one of the young’s band’s primary influences. The Taylor Goldsmith-fronted Dawes will also play with their contemporary and producer Jonathan Wilson, whose recently released LP, Nothing Is Wrong, reveals a SoCal neoclassicist with a distinctive style of his own. Dawes will do triple duty as the opening act, and Wilson will join the band to back Browne, who’s headlining, obviously. (7/6a)
