Another Winehouse Album?

THE FINAL ACT? Will there be a third Amy Winehouse album? That’s the big question in the wake of the singer’s death over the weekend. Winehouse had reportedly been working on a new album off and on for the past two years. Various reasons have been given for its delay, including the fact she was unwilling to produce a “less-than-perfect” record or was clashing with producer Mark Ronson. The U.K. Mirror reports there are three albums’ worth of material already recorded and ready to go, but the decision to release the material is up to her parents, Mitch and Janis, who reportedly have the final say. On Sunday, they issued a media statement pleading for privacy. "Our family has been left bereft by the loss of Amy, a wonderful daughter, sister, niece," the statement said. "She leaves a gaping hole in our lives. We are coming together to remember her and we would appreciate some privacy and space at this terrible time." (7/25a)
