ALL ACCESS: After finalizing its acquisition of Warner Music Group, Access Industries will place six of its own people on the music company's nine-member board of directors, including Stephen Cooper as Chairman, with Len Blavatnik as Vice Chairman. While handing over his role as Chairman, Edgar Bronfman Jr. will retain control of running the company as CEO and will also continue to hold a seat on the board. Other Access execs on the board include CEO Lincoln Benet, EVP/Vice Chairman Alex Blavatnik, Managing Director Donald Wagner and Jorg Mohaupt, a media and communications exec. The board will be down to nine members from the 12 it carried, though WMG will be represented by Bronfman, Lyor Cohen—who will remain in place as Chairman/CEO of Recorded Music, but will step down as WMG Vice Chairman—and Warner/Chappell Music Chairman/CEO Cameron Strang.
