19/Interscope signs Idol's Reinhart

REINHART'S ROLLING: Haley Reinhart, who made a deep impression on the public during season 10 of American Idol, has been signed to a deal by 19/Interscope. The 20-year-old from Wheeling, IL, finished in third place, but she was the only season 10 contestant to have three performance clips from the show generate more than a million YouTube views, topped by her take on Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” which racked up 2.3 million in less than a week. During the season finale, she dueted with Tony Bennett on “Steppin’ Out With My Baby.” "I've always dreamed of getting this kind of recognition,” said Reinhart in the press release. “I am very thankful to 19 and Interscope for giving me this opportunity to create my own music." Reinhart, who’s co-managed by 19’s Iain Pirie and Red Light’s Mark DiDia, is on the road this summer with the Idol tour. (7/27a)
