Eddy Cue promoted

STICKING WITH CUE: New Apple ruler Tim Cook made his first major personnel move in the post-Steve Jobs era yesterday, upping Eddy Cue to SVP of Internet Software and Services, the N.Y. Post reports. The 22-year Apple veteran, who has a long line of successes at Apple, most significantly as manager of the iTunes Store, now heads two more major undertakings: iCloud and iAd. “Eddy oversees Apple’s industry-leading content stores including the iTunes Store, the revolutionary App Store and the iBookstore, as well as iAd and Apple’s innovative iCloud services,” according to the company’s Web site, which was also updated yesterday to reflect Cue’s new role.
