Pink Floyd tribute week on Fallon

SET YOUR TIVOS FOR THE HEART OF THE SUN: In conjunction with EMI’s massive and exhaustive Pink Floyd reissue program, which begins this week, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon is conducting a weeklong all-star tribute. Tonight, The Shins will play “Breathe,” from Dark Side of the Moon. Tomorrow, Roger Waters will join Foo Fighters in a performance of “In the Flesh” from The Wall. Wednesday, MGMT will tackle “Lucifer Sam” from the Floyd’s 1967 debut album, Piper at the Gates of Dawn. On Thursday, Dierks Bentley will sing the title song from Wish You Were Here. The tribute will culminate with Pearl Jam tackling “Mother” from The Wall. We can’t wait for Fallon’s impersonation of Syd Barrett. (9/26a)
