X Factor Ratings Stay the Course

STEADY AS SHE GOES: Fox lost the Yankees but won the night for the third Thursday in a row among adults 18-49, with The X Factor (3.8/10) leading the way, peaking at #1 at 9 p.m. with a 4.1 and 11.82 million viewers. The show has been in the 3.8-4.4/10-12 range since its debut three weeks ago, which bodes well as the competition gets set to go live with 16 finalists. Fox, which will televise the next rounds of the baseball playoffs, lost its two biggest draws, with the Red Sox failing to even make the post-season and the Yankees eliminated last night on TBS by the Detroit Tigers, an event which pushed most broadcast series down in the ratings.
