Cowell vs. Reid the Real Competition

REID HIS HITS: As the competition heats up on Fox’s The X Factor, the best sparks are the ones flying between alpha male judges Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, who have delighted in tossing zingers at one another. On last night’s show, Cowell called Reid’s choice of Bobby Brown’s “Every Little Step,” which L.A. wrote, for his contestant Marcus Canty to sing, “narcissistic.” L.A. didn’t miss a beat: “We would have done one of your songs, but...” pausing for effect before getting high fives from both Nicole and Paula on his comeback.
