NARM's DigitalMusic.org Adds On

DIGITALIA: NARM’s digitalmusic.org, has been busy today. They just named David Iscove, EMI’s Director of Work Hub Initiative (the company’s archival digitization strategy), Chair of its Apps, Music & Gaming Work Group. Iscove will engage gaming companies and app developers to create better systems for including music in their products and to facilitate advance content licensing. He previously worked at Activision Publishing as Sr. Audio Assets Specialist for Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero. Iscover attended Berklee College of Music as a guitar performance major before landing a job at First Artists Management. Six new members have also joined digitalmusic.org, including Spotify, Getty Images Music, turntable.fm, Slacker, Dubset and AudioVroom by Social Genius. (11/7p)
