IN DA CLUB: Tommy Nappi has joined the Warner Bros. Records promotion team as VP Promotion, department head Peter Gray announced this morning. Nappi, who’ll be based in New York, will work under the direction of Lee L’Heureux, who oversees and operates the label’s Rhythm promotion division, and closely with Dave Dyer, who runs our Top 40 operation. He’ll also guide WB’s efforts in the mix-show and club airplay arenas. “We’re thrilled to incorporate his relentless talent and seasoned expertise into our new team,” Gray tells us, just before Nappi butts in to add, “I would like to thank Peter Gray for giving me the opportunity to join Lee, Dave and this gifted promotion team. It is exciting to be back at the Warner Music family under the leadership of Todd Moscowitz, Livia Tortella and Rob Cavallo, at least two of whom are paisans. I look forward to much success with our talented and diverse artist roster. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna get back under these headphones.” (12/7/11)
